Fledgling BARS

We have had two Barn Swallow nests on our porch covering ever since spring. In one, the babies have already left it and only use it to sleep, and in the other there are four young that have just fledged. Now we have about 15 Barn Swallows flying around when they are all out of the nest; The parents have had two broods. Here is a picture of the four fledglings in the nest. You can barely see the fourth ones tail sticking out on the far left side of the nest.

Just FYI, the correct abbreviation is BARS. BASW could be Bank, or Barn! ;-)

What a truly delightful part of your life it must be to have these wonderful specimens nesting in such close proximity to oneself.
